Acceptable Use Policy
This policy governs how you may use the Stepora WhatsApp AI agent. It is part of our Terms of Service — by using Stepora you agree to it. Last updated: 6 November 2026.
Stepora is sold through our online store “Pulse”, and the product is described there as an “AI Coach” — the WhatsApp AI agent that answers your customers on WhatsApp.
1. What the AI agent is
The Stepora AI agent replies to your business’s customers on WhatsApp. It answers questions about your products, prices, delivery, and payment methods, takes orders, and hands conversations over to you when a customer needs a person. It answers only from the business information you provide — it does not invent prices, products, or promises. You stay responsible for everything the agent says to your customers, and for confirming every order before it is dispatched.
This policy covers everything the agent generates: replies to customers, broadcast drafts, template text, and any other content the AI produces for your business.
2. Prohibited uses of generated content
You must not use the AI agent to generate, send, or help create any of the following:
- Illegal content. Anything that breaks the law in Pakistan, or in the country where your customers are — including content that helps plan, commit, or hide a crime.
- Deception and fraud. False claims about your products, prices, or delivery; fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fake order confirmations; scams, phishing, or any attempt to trick a customer into paying for something they are not getting.
- Spam and unwanted messages. Unsolicited bulk messages, messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, or messages sent to evade WhatsApp’s spam and opt-in rules. Broadcasts in Stepora are off by default and always need your confirmation — that is by design, not a limit to work around.
- Harassment, hate, and threats. Content that harasses, threatens, bullies, or targets a person or group because of their race, religion, gender, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Content that encourages or praises violence.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another business, another person, Meta, WhatsApp, a bank, a courier, or a government body — or using the agent to write messages that make a customer believe they are talking to someone they are not.
- Regulated advice without qualification. Medical, legal, or financial advice given as if from a qualified professional when you are not one — for example, diagnosing an illness, giving a legal opinion, or promising investment returns. If your business is in a regulated field, the agent must stick to factual information about your service and direct customers to a qualified person for advice.
- Misleading product claims. Health claims, “guaranteed” results, or safety claims about a product that you cannot support. The agent must not invent a guarantee, a certification, or a result.
- Content about children. Content that targets children with advertising or persuasion they cannot judge, or that collects personal information from children.
- Intellectual property abuse. Content that copies another business’s brand, text, images, or products and passes them off as your own.
- Circumventing safety measures. Any attempt to get the agent to ignore these rules, to reword a prohibited request so it slips past them, or to use the agent in a way that hides who is really sending a message.
3. No sexual or adult content
The Stepora AI agent must not be used to generate any sexual or adult content, in any form, for any purpose.
This is an absolute prohibition. It covers:
- No erotic or sexually explicit text, images, or descriptions — whether written as a reply, a broadcast, a template, or any other message the agent produces.
- No pornographic content of any kind.
- No content that sexualises any person — adult or child — including suggestive or sexualised descriptions of a person’s body, clothing, or behaviour.
- No sexual content involving children, in any form, under any circumstances. This is never permitted, and any attempt will be treated as a serious violation (see §5).
- No “adult” marketing, dating, or escort content, and no content that links a customer to sexual or adult services.
- No sexual content disguised as something else — innuendo, coded language, or a request reworded to evade this rule is still a violation.
There is no exception for a business that sells adult products, and no exception for content a customer asks for. If a customer asks the agent for sexual or adult content, the agent must refuse, and you must not override that refusal.
4. What you must do
- Keep your business information accurate and honest — the agent answers from what you wrote.
- Check what the agent sends, especially in the first days after you switch it on, and correct it when it gets something wrong.
- Only message customers who have agreed to be contacted on WhatsApp, and respect their opt-outs at once.
- Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us at support@stepora.xyz if you believe your account has been misused.
- Report content the agent produces that you believe breaks this policy, so we can fix it.
5. Enforcement
If we find, or are told, that your account has broken this policy, we may:
- Warn you and ask you to stop the behaviour.
- Restrict the agent — for example, switch off auto-reply or broadcasts on your account.
- Suspend your account while we look into it.
- Terminate your account, without refund of the current period’s plan fee, for serious or repeated violations.
For the most serious violations — including any sexual content involving children, fraud, or illegal activity — we may terminate the account immediately and, where the law requires it, report the matter to the relevant authorities. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and why, and give you a chance to respond before we act, unless immediate action is needed to protect others.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you in the panel or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
